Sevilla Atlético and CE Sabadell shared the points in the first league game of the season at the Jesús Navas Stadium

The stage was set at the Jesús Navas Stadium to kick off Sevilla Atlético's league season. In a game that saw the return of fans to the stadium, Sevilla Atlético welcomed CE Sabadell to the Andalusian capital for the first time, but neither side managed to find the back of the opponent's net.

Paco Gallardo's team made their debut in the new Primera RFEF Footers League. After a good start to the game which saw the home team threaten on goal, the Catalan side matched the intensity, thus making it a very even contest.

The first 45 minutes saw the home side trying to find some narrow pockets in the Catalan side's defence. The Sevilla defenders were also fairly comfortable and had no real threat on their goal either due to the game being focused in the midfield area. The most threatening chance came at the end of the first half to the away side, which saw Kibamba clearing the ball off the goal line after a Sabadell corner nearly put them ahead.

Antonio Hidalgo's team were the brighter side in the second half with more of an attacking threat. Sevilla Atlético had a tough few minutes in which they were required to defend in a dangerous spell for for the Catalan side, but Paco Gallardo's team eventually found a way back into the game. Iván Romero tried his luck on goal from range, but failed to score, and Pablo Pérez then came close to putting the home side ahead with an attempt that forced a save from Sabadell goalkeeper, Kike Royo. Despite both teams trying to find the winner, Sevilla Atlético and CE Sabadell shared the points in a game that saw Isaac being shown the red card right at the end of the game.
