Sevilla Atlético couldn't fail at San Fernandos. Knowing the difficulty of the league and immersed in a difficult start to the season, the Sevilla youth team gained their first win of the season against the club from Cádiz. The great start to game didn't slow down Sevilla Atlético and the goalkeeper Perales who had to stop on the line a third goal from the visitors after a shot by Aspar. Immersed in a first half with many Sevilla players playing in the opposition half, a tactic which worked very well as Iván scored the third of the game with a header, his second of the day. Having got away so quickly on the scoreboard, the home side were force to react by putting on the breaks to the Sevilla attack, trying to cut the deficit with a shot from Dopi which Javi Diaz could do nothing about. In the last action of the first half, Kibamba wandered into the area, scoring the second goal for the home side.
In the second half, with everything to play for after a first haff in which there was no shortage of chances on goal both teams immerged themselves into a period in which the possession of the ball reduced the number of chances. Great defensive work by Sevilla Atlético was reinforced by the arrival of substitutes from the bench which meant that the home side did not options to equalise at the Estadio Iberoamericano. In this way, before welcoming Algeciras, Sevilla Atlético closed out their first victory of the campaign to head into their next league game calmer.
