Sevilla FC picked up more than just three points against Osasuna. We also celebrated Fernando Reges and Jules Koundé reaching 100 games for the club, following Lucas Ocampos who set his landmark against RCD Mallorca.
The Brazilian defensive midfielder has played a total of 7,951 minutes for the club, divided between 76 league games, six in the Copa del Rey, 7 Europa League encounters, 1 in the European Super Cup and 10 in the Champions League. He has scored 7 and assisted 9. His goal scoring numbers were boosted in a remarkable run in April and May last year when he scored against Real Madrid, Real Sociedad and RC Celta. Throughout his time at the club, he has gained Lopetegui's confidence and become a constant in the team
Both players are key for Lopetegui
Just a few metres behind Fernando we have Jules Koundé who also played his 100th game for us against Osasuna. The Parisian centre-back has even more minutes played than Fernando - 8,346. That has come in 72 league games, 9 Copa del Rey ones, 9 in the Europa League, 1 in the European Super Cup and 9 in the Champions League. He has six goals to his name and has scored the most goals against RC Celta, against whom he scored in both matches last year. He also picked up a goal in a 3-1 win away to Rennes in the Champions League last year.
Both players join an illustrious 100 club for the team with room to improve yet. Fernando and Koundé are central to Lopetegui's plans with their versatility and talent that they have demonstrated throughout their time in Sevilla colours.
