Ramón Rodríguez Verdejo, Monchi, spoke to Official Media after Sevilla FC's 2-0 win in El Gran Derbi: "I'm feeling happy and satisfied about the fact that we've made so many people happy after the defeat against Lille. They're three important points against Betis, and we made them look smaller than what they are, because they're a side with real ability and potential".
Monchi then went on to analyse the match: "We met the demands of the match, we made sure it was not an end-to-end affair and we did not give them any space when they went down to 10 men, until we scored. I suffer in the same way, I was nervous all the way through the match with my colleagues, and then I got to enjoy it with our fans, because Sevilla is my life, as you know. They're three more points that go towards our objective and we'll keep fighting, and I'm convinced that we'll surely achieve it if we keep up this form".
