The Sevilla-Betis regatta returned with a bang for the 55th edition although Sevilla lost in a tight race in the men's category. After the racing last year, which was very different due to the health measures required by the pandemic, all categories returned for this edition with the river bank full of people following the different races.

The Sevilla crew, who this year had a slightly new crew, took the advantage at the start of the race and were ahead up until the very end but their opponent made up this deficit and at the end near the San Telmo bridge showed their experience to take the victory in the final few metres.
In terms of the rest of the morning, Sevilla FC won in the youth men category and lost in the veteran and women's categories. In total, the record book continues being red and white in the men's category with 30 Sevilla wins and 25 Betis wins.
