THE NERVIÓN SOLIDARIO CELEBRATED THEIR 12TH ANNIVERSARY RECOGNISING FERNANDO REGES AND AEETC

The Nervión Solidario supporters' club reunited to celebrate their 12th anniversary in a ceremony that took place on Tuesday at the Royal Betis Tennis club. With the vicepresident José María del Nido Carrasco and the president Luis Castro and the president of the Sevilla Supporters' Club Carlos Jiménez in attendance, the annual awarding of prizes took place. As usual there was a charitable element to the night as they highlighted the work of a not-for-profit organisation. This year the organisation was the Spanish Association for the treatment of cancer (AEetc). 

 

In his speech, the vicepresident celebrated the fact these ceremonies could once again take place with regularity. "Every time that we have a moment like this returning to normality it makes us happy. They told me that this supporters' club had to celebrate their eleventh anniversary virtually and I congratulate you because behind every supporters' club there is a lot of work, sacrifice and things that take up time. If there is also a charitable aspect, I take off my hat to that." 

Also, Del Nido Carrasco congratulated Fernando Reges, who was awarded the MVP prize last season by the supporters' club. "He is Sevilla FC, a Champions League player that never surrenders. Our aim is to renew his contract and then clone him when he retires because we all want him to be at Sevilla for the next 500 years." To finish he gave a message: "We promise what we always say. A lot of work and a lot of work. We are convinced that Sevilla will continue growing and is heading for success."
