The three players appeared after overcoming extra time in Córdoba

Lucas Ocampos, Karim Rekik and Marko Dmitrovic offered their thoughts after the win against Córdoba CF. After what happened in the first round of the cup, the goal scorer on the night said that "it was a difficult game against a team that battled hard despite the level that they play at and I am very happy because we went through. We tried to score the goal in search of victory but it was very difficult because in the cup there are teams that can surprise you. Many fans travelled, who were surely as nervous as us, but we continue with the league at home which is the important thing."

In turn, Karim Rekik also referred to the difficulty of this competition. "We know that the cup is always difficult. All the games are finals because if you lose you are out and I am very happy with the win today. I am also happy to play after coming back from a hamstring injury and now we are looking ahead to Villarreal. We are ready."

To finish, the Serbian goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic, who kept a clean sheet, was another one who offered his thoughts. "We knew that they were a very dangerous team at their level and that they have their weapons and that they didn't change their style of play. We allowed them to open us up but in the end what is important is getting through to the next round, moving on and cutting out mistakes. I am ready, enjoying my football and when the manager needs me, I am prepared but the important thing is that the team continues getting results."
