Julen Lopetegui, Sevilla FC coach, was very satisfied with his team's victory at San Mamés: "We're very happy with the result, it's a tough ground to visit and we haven't won a lot there in recent years. Only we know what we've gone through this week: getting knocked out of the Champions League, suffering with injuries, the fatigue... They were preparing for this match all week and we put a lot of heart into it. They could have scored and they didn't, but that's happened to us in other matches where we've conceded. We were more organised in the second half, and now we've got three very important points for the players, they deserve it".

"Getting off the plane from Austria, training, and then Suso dislocates his ankle like that just after recovering, it wasn't easy. We even had to stop the training session. We know what we came from, it's been a very tough week. They all put in so much effort, but now it's time to keep going", he stated.
