REKIK, JAVI DÍAZ AND ÓLIVER TORRES OFFER THEIR THOUGHTS AFTER DRAWING WITH VALENCIA AT THE MESTALLA

Karim Rekik, Javi Díaz and Óliver Torres offered their thoughts after the draw against Valencia CF. On the point gained at the Mestalla, it was the Dutch defender who was first to speak who said that "we played to get the three points and we leave with one. We also knew that Valencia are a hard team and that it is not easy to win here and we have to look ahead to the next game. We are a very strong team mentally despite all the difficulties. Now we will fight for the three points at home against RC Celta." 

In turn, the goalkeeper on the night highlighted that despite the disappointment of not getting three points, Sevilla do not surrender despite their day to day difficulties, whilst he was also happy with his opportunity against Valencia. "We came to get the three points and failing to get them hurts us because we are competitive, knowing also that is is a difficult ground to come to. We are Sevilla, we don't surrender. We are always going to have lows and problems and that is our DNA and that is reason that is we are where we are. The goal was painful we came back well and it has been difficult for me but otherwise I am personally happy." 

To close, Óliver Torres also wanted to focus on the positives. He highlighted on nights such as yesterday the draw serves to unite the group more from within with the adversities they have to face. "We came to a difficult ground and the team played very well. We had chances to score more goals, which makes the draw harder to take but seeing where the team has come from, this point has brought us closer together. In the end we have to focus on the positives, winning is always difficult and we have to value it and take this good point into Saturday against a difficult Celta. We hope that the Sánchez-Pizjuán will be bursting and they will take us to the win."
