Sevilla FC assistant coach, Pablo Sanz, shared his thoughts on Saturday's draw against RC Celta: "In the first half, they punished the times when we were careless in possession. Their pressing made it uncomfortable for us. After we made a few tweaks to the shape we started to look a bit better. Coming from two nil down to draw and almost win the game, it's hard to fault the effort. It's a shame because at home you want to get that win and two points have slipped away."
PABLO SANZ: "IT'S A BITTERSWEET POINT, BUT WE HAVE TO PRAISE THE RESILIENCE OF THE TEAM"
"Even after conceding the first two, it still felt as though the belief was there to get a draw because the team had given everything. We wanted win in front of our fans, but it's a bittersweet point," said Sanz.
In regards to the injuries, Sanz gave some news: "Tecatito hasn't played a full game for some time and has a bit of cramp, Iván's injury is to do with his shoulder and Fernando we had to sub off due to his ankle. It's turning out to be an injury-prone type of season, we are on our last legs, but we have to praise the resilience of this team. Perhaps we lacked a bit of calmness, but it's hard to fault them. Now, we have to think about the next game and where we can improve."
Lastly, Sanz touched on the support shown from the stands to Jordán: "He really appreciates the support, but that incident has passed now. Now it's time to get some rest and look forward to the game ahead."
