A group of 30 young Japanese boys, aged 10 to 14, visited the city of Seville over the last few days thanks to LaLiga Grassroots. Together with partner Watatake Group, LaLiga is looking to complete this project with three main objectives. They are to give recognition to the coaches' efforts, help with clubs' development and, lastly, to develop Japanese Grassroots football.
LALIGA GRASSROOTS MAKES IT AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE FOR THE 30 VISITING JAPANESE YOUNGSTERS
After training and having played some friendly games in Madrid, the group arrived in Seville where they would set up camp at the San Roque Balompié facilities, in the neighbourhood Sevilla Este. In addition, the aspiring footballers were given the chance to test their skills up against some of the Sevilla FC youth teams, for which they visited the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios.
Also through this unforgettable footballing experience, the boys took the time to visit the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán where they enjoyed a tour of the stadium and where they were fortunate enough to attend our home win against Elche CF in the league. The next phase of this project sees several coaches from LaLiga clubs travel to Japan to continue with this training.
