Sevilla Atlético boss, Alejandro Acejo, spoke to the club media to share his thoughts on the reserve team defeat to Atlético Sanluqueño: "It shows that any opponent can cause you damage. We weren't at our best and things weren't working out. Our opponents were able to take advantage of those two early chances. Even though we put ourselves in front, and even though the equaliser shouldn't have counted, in the end, we weren't able to keep our concentration in order to win the game."
The boss further commented on the physical state of his players: "We played on Wednesday. In regards to our physical form, we haven't been at our finest. Coming up against opponents that set themselves up well... our movement hasn't been good neither. The boys went into the second half with a clearer mindset. This is football and our opponents did the same. Their plan came off." On the other hand, Acejo emphasised the importance of the next game in Andorra: "There are plenty of games left and we must keep on depending on ourselves to stay up. It was obvious that it was going to be complicated. Today we lost, but we will work hard to get the win in Andorra."
Cistóbal's debut was one of the positive things the game yielded: "We brought him in because we needed too. I am happy because he had quite a good game." In conclusion, the boss didn't want to leave without thanking the fans for their support: "It's amazing. Today was just amazing and we ask that the fans keep it up because we are going to give it our all so that our goals are reached. It's worth mentioning how they have been with us. They have pushed us and supported us. That's why I have to thank them."
