The 31st of March will see the start of the Advanced Professional Development Courses held by Sevilla FC and the Pablo de Olavide University from the Cátedra Sevilla FC: University, Business and Sport faculty. The main goal of this course is to teach students the fundamentals and principles of the "talent development" programme conducted by Sevilla FC at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios facilities with the aim to foster the growth and development of youth team players.
Within this training programme, a complete analysis will be made of the working method applied by the club's youth coaches, based on prior knowledge of the structure and functioning of the entity and its philosophy of football player development model. From there, the aim is to enable the student to develop their own training plan adapted to their club or the team that, as a coach, they can manage at any given moment. This will include sport planning, assessment and evaluation of progression and assessment or task creation and structuring as well as providing a basic knowledge of transverse aspects, such as movement and strength training applied to football, that all trainers should have.
These courses will take place at the Ciudad Deportiva from the 31st of March until the 31st of May 2022 with academic supervision from Fernando Manuel Otero Saborido, UPO professor, José María Gallardo, department coordinator and member of Sevilla FC football lab, Víctor Feijoo Gómez. At 12:00 PM on the 18th of March, an informative, online and free session will take place. To get more information about this course, enable your inscription through this link.
