Five years and 18 days later, Jesús Navas donned Spain's shirt once more. Wearing the number 22, the 2010 World Cup champion in South Africa played the whole match, putting in a quality performance against Norway in the qualifiers for Euro 2020.
Navas was very involved down the right flank, especially during the first half. He was a real handful on the night in the Mestalla. Rodrigo's goal on the 15-minute mark and Ramos' penalty 20 minutes before the end were enough to get the win for Spain in a hard-fought game, with Joshua King managing to equalise on the night from the spot.
Sevilla FC's other international, Sergi Gómez, did not pick up any minutes and will have to wait until the second matchday in Group F to be played on Tuesday at 20:45 away from home against Malta. Malta picked up a 2-1 win at home against the Faroe Islands.
