Sevilla FC travel to Almería with 22 players, even though the Copa del Rey rules state the team can only have nine players on the bench. Julen Lopetegui had warned yesterday that injuries were proving a problem in the squad and some players would have to be evaluated on the day of the game.
Julen has Vaclík, Escudero and Óscar Rodríguez out as has been the case for several weeks, and Jesús Navas and Marcos Acuña now join that list. After his loan move yesterday to Ajax, Idrissi is also logically not with the team. Gudelj returns to the squad after completing his sanction against Eibar, while Iván Romero, who scored yet again for Sevilla Atlético on the weekend, also is welcomed back into the squad after a season in which he is the highest scorer in Group IV of Segunda B with eight goals.
The squad is as follows: Bono, Javi Díaz, Alfonso, Aleix Vidal, Koundé, Gnagnon, Sergi Gómez, Diego Carlos, Rekik, Fernando, Gudelj, Joan Jordán, Óliver Torres, Rakitic, Franco Vázquez, Ocampos, Papu Gómez, Suso, Munir, De Jong, Iván Romero and En-Nesyri.
