Sevilla FC will be represented this Tuesday in the 45th Ordinary UEFA Congress which will take place in the Swiss city of Montreux. The Club will be represented by President José Castro after receiving an invite as current UEFA Europa League champions. Upon his arrival and with Luis Figo as interpreter, he was able to inform Aleksader Čeferin, UEFA President, in person on the Club's official statement regarding the creation of a European Super League.
In this annual congress, UEFA will choose the members of their Executive Committee as well as the European members of the Board of FIFA. Additionally, two representatives will be confirmed onto the ECA (European Club Association) and one representative onto the European Leagues (EL) as members of the Executive Committee.
Furthermore, the financial report from 2019/20 will be up for approval as well as the budget for 2021/22, in addition to some modifications in the UEFA Statutes.
