Though defeated in the semi-finals by FC Barcelona, the Nervionenses secured third place after a win against Espanyol

The LaLiga Promises tournament finishes with Sevillista heads held high. Sevilla FC's U12 side secured a third-place finish at the competition in Villarreal, after victory in a playoff match against RCD Espanyol. Fernando Cáceres' side came from behind to score twice in the last minutes of the game - the first goal a screamer from Alcón and the second a winner from Ibra.

Not long before, the youth side had fallen to a hard-fought 3-1 loss against the eventual champions FC Barcelona. However, every player will be proud of a fantastic tournament, with attention now turning to the international phase of the competition in New York due to kick-off in two weeks. The future looks bright at Sevilla FC!
