Although our season has come to a close with our UEFA Europa League success in Budapest, nine first-team players still have international commitments before a well-deserved holiday.

The first players in action will be Yassine Bono and Youssef En-Nesyri, with Morocco facing Cape Verde in a friendly this evening in Rabat. On Saturday, they travel to Johannesburg to face South Africa in an AFCON Group K qualifier. Qualification is already assured, but they will win the group by avoiding defeat.

Next up is Argentina. Marcos Acuña and Lucas Ocampos have been called up, while Gonzalo Montiel is out of the team after picking up an injury in the season finale in San Sebastián. The world champions have two friendly matches in Asia, against Australia in Beijing on Thursday and Indonesia in Jakarta on Monday.

Jesús Navas has also received his first call-up for Spain since November 2020, and will be the oldest ever player in the national team's history if he features this week. Their UEFA Nations League Semi Final against Italy is scheduled for 20:45 in Enschede. If Spain win, they will face either the Netherlands or Croatia in the Final on Sunday at 20:45 in Rotterdam, while a defeat would mean they will take part in the third-place play-off on Sunday at 15:00 in Enschede.

Ten players received call-ups, but Montiel misses out after his injury in San Sebastián

Loic Badé could be in line for a busy summer after receiving a call-up for France U21, who are in action in the U21 EURO in Romania. A friendly match against Mexico U21, on Friday 16th in Grenoble at 18:30, precedes the tournament, with France facing Italy, Norway and Switzerland in the Group Stage, on 22nd, 25th and 28th June respectively.

As for Serbia, Nemanja Gudelj is once again in the squad. They will travel to Vienna for a friendly against Jordan on Friday 16th, before a EURO 2024 qualifier against Bulgaria in Razgrad on Tuesday 20th.

The last two players do not have any matches lined up until Saturday 17th. Pape Gueye's Senegal and Alex Telles' Brazil are both in action on the Saturday night, against Benin in an AFCON qualifier and a friendly against Guinea at the RCDE Stadium respectively. The two sides will then face each other on Tuesday 20th at the José Alvalade in Lisbon.
