Seven of our players will be absent from the Ciudad Deportiva this week as they compete for their national sides, over a period that starts tomorrow morning and ends next Tuesday.

The first to be in action is Argentina, who Montiel and Acuña play for whilst Papu Gómez stays in Seville to work on his recovery. They will play a friendly against Panama in the Monumental in Buenos Aires, in their first match since winning the World Cup. The kick off time is 00:30 Spanish time. On early Tuesday morning, Scaroni's men will face the Caribbean side Curazao in Santiago del Estero.

Two of our players will play in an official competitive match on Friday night. Pape Gueye plays for Senegal as they face Mozambique in the third round of fixtures for the Africa Cup of Nations 2024. The match will kick off at 20:00 and Senegal will play their fourth game on Tuesday at 18:00, as they play the return leg against Mozambique. Senegal lead their group, having won both of their matches to claim six points.

Gudelj will star for Serbia as they seek to qualify for Euro 2024 in Germany. Serbia will be without Dmitrovic, who announced his retirement from international football this week. Serbia will play in Belgrade against Lithuania at 20:45 on Friday, whilst at the same time on Monday they will have an away match against Montenegro.

Moving onto Saturday, Bryan Gil was meant to be part of the Spanish national team for the start of the Euro 2024 qualifiers, but he has picked up a knock and will not feature. The national team will kick their campaign off on Saturday at 20:45 CET and make their first away trip to Glasgow to face off against Scotland, with the same kick-off time.

Also on Saturday, there will be a clash between Sevilla players in Rabat, as Morocco and Brazil face off in a friendly with Bono, En-Nesyri and Alex Telles selected for their respective national teams. The tie will kick-off at 23:00 CET and will be the only match for the Canarinha in this international break. Morocco will have another match however, as they will travel to Madrid to face Peru on Tuesday at 20:30.
