AGREEMENT WITH FC BARCELONA FOR MARIA PÉREZ TRANSFER

Sevilla FC and FC Barcelona have reached an agreement over the transfer of central midfielder Maria Pérez to our women's team. Maria Pérez Rabaza (born 24/01/2001 in San Fost de Campsentelles, Catalonia) is a versatile midfielder who spent last season in and out of the Primera RFEF champions' first team. She made her  debut for the club in 2021, going on to make a total of 16 appearances in all competitions. 

On the internatioal stage, after various friendlies, the talented youngster was handed her competitive debut for Spain during their successful World Cup campaign this summer. Pérez came on after 64 minutes of the round of 16 match against Switzerland (1-5), replacing Teresa Abelleira. As such, she arrives in Nervión this season as a newly crowned champion of the world.
