Ibrahim Amadou was officially presented as a Sevilla FC player this afternoon. The French-Cameroonian player sealed his Sevilla future on Monday and quickly talked to the press about his contact with former teammate Seb Corchia: "Since I played at Nancy and then later at LOSC, I've always like following the Spanish league. Teams always want to come out playing from the back. I spoke with Corchia and he told me playing well with the ball is always very important at this Club".
He also talked about his versatility, stating he would play wherever Pablo Machín needed him to: "It's true I've played in a lot of positions, as a centre-back and a defensive midfielder but I like playing in the centre of the park - where I like to express myself as a footballer".
To finish up, Amadou was asked about his current teammate Clément Lenglet: "I was hoping to play with Lenglet. Anything can happen in football. He has the option to leave but I'm happy if he's happy".
