André Silva is going through a simply spectacular moment. The Portuguese, who scored another goal in yesterday's win against Eibar, now has seven goals for the club in the league and is the league's top goal scorer this season.

With the seven goals scored in the first seven matchdays, André Silva equals Frederic Kanouté who achieved the same feat in the 2006/2007 season. Twelve years have passed before another Sevilla forward started the season in such form in the league. Before the Malian, and giving even more worth to what the Portuguese is achieving, nobody had achieved these numbers since Scotta did in 1979.

Another stat which further emphasises André Silva's numbers is that he is now the first debutant in La Liga to score seven goals in the first seven matchdays since Vieri, who put up those numbers with Atlético Madrid in 1997. Ronaldo managed the same feat the season before with Barcelona, and in the 1983/1984 season, Mágico González achieved it as well.

Impressive stats for the Portuguese striker and for Sevilla fans, who are seeing in Silva a striker who can mark an era in Nervión
