Sevilla FC's Argentine midfielder, Éver Banega, spoke to the media after the 2-2 draw yesterday: "We're happy for coming away with something on a pitch where most teams come away with nothing. We have to be strong for what is to come". Banega said the team knew how to deal with getting themselves back into the game: "They equalised and then our mistake led to them taking the lead. However, we knew how to get back into the match and equalise".
The number 10 spoke about VAR: "The truth is that it's very difficult. In the first half we hardly played because of VAR". For Banega, it was a very important point in the chase for their objective: "It's a vital point, more so because it's against a direct rival, but we must keep improving. Now, we have to focus on Thursday's match".
