The striker, who was given a standing ovation when he came on in the second half, added Sevilla's third goal of the night.

After playing the last of three Europa League play-off rounds against Sigma, Ben Yedder could not appear happier: "I'm very pleased with the goal. I wanted to show that I could score and I'm very happy. The task was complicated. It's very important to get through to the group stages and these matches have not been easy. Now we're there, we know what it means for Sevilla FC to play in this competition and we're going to give it everything. The team needs a lot of confidence and these wins give us that".

When asked about the next match at the Benito Villamarín, Ben Yedder replied, "We're going to show our rivals that we're very strong, we will play a great derby. We know what this game means in Seville, it's a very important and special match".
