BEN YEDDER: 'IT'S A GOOD POSITION WITH HOW MANY TEAMS WANTED TO BE IN THE EUROPA LEAGUE'

The French striker, the scorer of the first goal, was happy with his performance and expressed his desire to improve next season

Wissam Ben Yedder was interviewed after the win against Athletic Bilbao. The striker evaluated the team's work throughout the season to finish sixth: 'It's a good position with how many teams wanted to be in the Europa League. We have to analyse our work, that's football. We couldn't get into the Champions League and we must learn from every situation as a team and individually as a player. I'm sure next year will be better.'

Speaking personally, Ben Yedder was optimistic regarding the future: 'Now we need to rest - it was a difficult season. I felt really good during it despite how tough it was. I'm ambitious and want to play a key role next season.'
