Wissam Ben Yedder's great performance last night against Krasnodar has not gone unnoticed by UEFA, as they have included him in the list of four nominees for the best player of matchday six of the group stage. The Sevilla forward is on the list with three other players: Ismaïla Sarr of Stade Rennais, Dominik Kohr of Bayer Leverkusen and Sander Berge of Racing Genk. Votes can be cast on this link.

Ben Yedder is the second Sevilla player to be nominated for the player of the week award in the Europa League after Banega was nominated for matchday one, although, on that occasion, the winner was Kai Havertz of Leverkusen.
