"Our team always plays to win", he expressed

Sevilla FC manager, Eduardo Berizzo, took pride in his team following Saturday's clash with Barcelona despite not managing to secure any points: "We played an even match and showed a lot character. The adjustments to certain aspects of the team cost us in the first half, but we got it back in the second. If we had held onto the 1-1 scoreline for a little longer, more spaces would have presented themselves. Although we didn't come away with the 3 points, we managed to carry forward the good shape that we played in previous matches".

"We got going in the second-half, we pulled away from their attack and this wasn't something that came easy. Despite the defeat, we should take the positives back with us, the character we showed and the pressure we put on. We needed to hang on to the draw for longer, but I have to congratulate my players", added the Argentinian.

Berizzo spoke about the team's one week break from matches, seeing it as an opportunity to make adjustments to the team: "We have to make use of the break and adjust certain aspects of the team. Our team always plays to win, and this is what we need to work towards every day".
