BERIZZO: "THE PLAYERS ARE FINDING THEIR FORM AND NOW WE CAN THINK MORE AS A TEAM"

The coach acknowledged that "in the first half we totally dominated and were able to show our superiority"

Berizzo explained his feelings following the match against Kashima Antlers to the official media: "It was a tale of two halves. In the first, we totally dominated and were able to show our superiority by creating a lot of chances. In the second, we let our pace drop and they punished us. The game served up errors and successes too".

After an intense stay in Japan, things are moving along nicely with regards to fitness: "Everyone is finding their best form. We have to work out the best workload because the days here have been tough and I think that in the second half we can blame that accumulation of hard work. They have been two matches in which everyone has had some playing time, which well help us going forward".

The Argentine is left to ponder a lot of attacking creativity, despite the lack of success: "That's the positive, having created a lot of chances despite not converting them. That makes us optimistic in our analysis of the first half. In the second it was more difficult. We were not very coordinated, but the feeling is that the team wants to play a certain way, show some different formations and we have to keep working".

On returning to Seville, the coaches have a lot to analyse: "The work will start to get more tactical. Every player has now found their form and now we can start to think more as a team". To finish off, he made an assessment without evaluating the scoreline: "The positive result from the other day and the one from today shouldn't be focused on. The ten days here have been very positive for our readiness, intensity and the great pace we have shown during large spells in both matches".
