Joan Jordán and Yassine Bono spoke after the defeat against West Ham. Jordán was the first to speak and showed his disappointment with the result: "The analysis is easy. We are really disappointed, we were so excited for this competition and this game. It's a tough blow - I think we weren't good in the first half but in the second we were better than them at times but we didn't push for it and I have the bitter feeling of not having gone for it more. It's a huge disappointment for us and our fans." He then spoke about the need to get back up for the rest of the season: "When you fall or face a disappointment, you have to get right back up. We have to look each other in the eyes and get our heads up. I think we have a good group. It's been a tough year but this team has fight, passion and ability. It would be easy to say we were bad but I trust in my team and in that we are going to get our heads up to make our fans happy in the remainder of the league season. If we want to keep on growing we have to be near the top of the table."

Bono shared Jordán's disappointment after the elimination, especially for the 1,000 Sevilla fans who had travelled to London: "We are annoyed with the result but we have to keep on going, stand up and focus on our league match on Sunday. I think we played well, we had chances to score but it wasn't to be. We were brought to the limit and we didn't play our game in the last minutes, but we fought until the end. We felt the support of our fans - they deserved more than this but we will be back at it to make them happy again."
