BRYAN GIL NOMINATED FOR THE 2021 GOLDEN BOY AWARD

The academy graduate, who was on loan at SD Eibar this season, is one of nine Spanish nominees

Bryan Gil is one of the 100 nominees for the 2021 Golden Boy Award, a prize for the best European player under the age of 21. The academy graduate spent this season on loan at SD Eibar, where he made 26 appearances and scored four goalsHis good performances brought about a first international call-up, and made his debut against Greece in a World Cup Qualifier in Granada. He has since featured against Georgia in another qualifier, and against Lithuania in a friendly before the start of EURO 2020. He was even named in Luis Enrique's parallel bubble ahead of the tournament. 

So, the man from Barbate is among the nine Spanish players who are candidates to succeed Erling Haaland in winning this award presented by Tuttosport.
