ACUÑA, MONTIEL AND PAPU GÓMEZ CALLED UP FOR ARGENTINA SQUAD

Marcos Acuña, Gonzalo Montiel and Papu Gómez continue being mainstays in the call ups to the Argentina national team squad with a new international break on the horizon. The coach, Lionel Scaloni has required the services of the three Sevilla plyers for the meetings that they will play against Paraguay, Uruguay and Peru on the 8, 11 and 15 October, respectively. 

It is worth highlighting that in regards to the standings for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Argentina are second with 18 points and only behind Brazil, both having played a game less after the postponement of their game several weeks ago.
