'It's shame that we couldn't take the three points back to Seville' commented the Portuguese

Daniel Carriço analysed the scoreless draw at the Anoeta: 'We knew that they wanted to get their first win at home. We tried to get the three points from the first minute but we lacked the finishing touch on the counter. It was a tough game for the team, but we all stayed together.'

'It's a shame that we didn't win, we wanted to take the three points back to Seville. They also tried to win but we were solid at the back, very compact in defence. Maybe with a bit more composure we could have got a goal,' explained the Portuguese.

With regards to the team's good defensive work, the centre-back commented that 'we always try to keep a clean sheet, to not concede goals. That way we're closer to winning. We have to continue in this way, with confidence and the goals will come.'
