SEVILLA FC JOINS ‘PINK IS MORE THAN JUST A COLOUR’ CAMPAIGN

This Thursday 19th October marks World Breast Cancer Awareness Day and the Sevilla FC Foundation has joined a campaign designed to inform people about the fight against a disease that predominantly affects women. Foundation ambassador, Antonio Álvarez, attended the presentation of the 'Pink is more than just a colour' initiative, launched by the 'Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer' (AECC) in order to educate the public about prevention, testing and help for those with the illness, including assistance to their families. 

The campaign website, colabora.contraelcancer.es, provides in-depth information on all the different research projects being carried out by the AECC to combat breast cancer, a disease that affects thousands of people in Spain, 10000 of which have already received care from this association. 

Under the banner of 'Nunca te Rindas,' Sevilla FC wishes to show its commitment and support to raising awareness and tackling breast cancer, via both prevention and early detection.
