As with any important event, before the screening of the trailer for the documentary following the career cf Jesús Navas in the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán's executive box, the guests walked the red carpet, where many of them, in addition to posing for photos, wanted to talk about the man himself.
From Pablo Blanco, who discovered him and was instrumental in his arrival at the club - who commented that everything said about Jesús is deserved - to Joaquín Caparrós, the coach with whom he made the leap to the elite: ‘personally, I have really enjoyed watching him in matches, at the training ground and talking a lot about football with him.’ Another of his coaches, Antonio Álvarez, added that ‘he is the most successful player in our history. I feel very proud and fortunate to have been part of many moments in his life.’
Ramón Orellana, the team's physio during Navas' first spell at Sevilla, also commented on his more personal side: ‘I would highlight his humility. He has always been humble; a calm person, who doesn't boast about anything. That is what has allowed him to be so great.’
Although there were many more attendees, two teammates who were particularly important to him also wanted to praise him. Firstly, Álvaro Negredo: ‘He has been a teammate who, wherever he has gone, has left his mark. Because of how he is, because of his personality.’ Finally, Diego Capel: ‘For all the titles he has won, he is a legend. No matter how much time passes, in the end he will always be missed.’
