DEL NIDO CARRASCO: "WE FELT THE NEED TO GIVE THAT JOY TO THE SEVILLISTAS"

The Vice Chairman spoke about the team's efforts and is proud of them

José María Del Nido Carrasco also spoke to Official Media after the Nervionenses won their sixth UEFA Europa League. The Vice Chairman started by stating that "the rapport we have with this competition is incredible, the team is transformed by facing even colossal sides". In this sense he highlighted the commitment of the squad, coaching staff and employees: "it is reality, there have been many circumstances. The family is spectacular and the symbiosis with the workers with that synergy ... within this competition the team is unstoppable". 

But the one thing he really wanted to highlighted was making Sevillistas happy: "On social networks, all the videos that have been posted, with this being the final during Covid-19, it's a source of pride and we felt the need to give them that joy, we felt them even though they weren't here. They supported us from Sevilla and this is for all Sevillistas". 

Del Nido Carrasco finished by talking about the fans and how proud he is of the trophy: "I'm a card-carrying Sevillista since I was born and being able to enjoy it here and see Jesús lift the cup after another great game is incredible, even more so after a difficult year"
