Sevilla FC vice president, José María Del Nido Carrasco, was present at the Fifth Jornadas Deportivas organised by Estadio Deportivo. The event, which took place at the headquarters of the Caja Rural del Sur Foundation, focused this year on Andalusia as the first European Region of Sport.
The event also emphasised the importance of the Andalusian community with regards to having hosted more than 100 high-level events during the year, hosting a venue for the European Championships, sponsoring the Vuelta a España as well as hosting the Badminton World Cup. All of this was also supported by the Andalusian Committee's Office for Education and Sport as well as collaboration from Pablo de Olavide University.
