Pending the confirmation of the Argentina squad, Qatar 2022 will already be the World Cup with the most Sevilla players in history, surpassing the six representatives at Russia 2018. Two more players have been confirmed this Friday, joining Alex Telles (Brazil), Delaney and Dolberg (Denmark), as well as Bono and En-Nesyri (Morocco). Marko Dmitrovic and Nemanja Gudelj, who have been regulars for Serbia in recent times will be in the squad heading to Qatar.
While Dmitrovic was in Russia four years ago - although he did not play - Gudelj will be making his first appearance at a World Cup. Before that, however, they face a friendly on Friday 18 at 17:00 against Bahrain in Riffa. In the group stage, they open their campaign against Brazil in Lusail on Thursday 24 at 20:00. Four days later, they face Cameroon in Al Wakrah (11.00) before closing Group G on Monday 28 against Switzerland in Doha (20.00).
