On Monday the draw for the last sixteen of the Copa del Rey Juvenil took place in which the 32 best teams from the six groups after the first round of the División de Honor were drawn. The tournament, which has not taken place in the last two seasons due to covid-19, returns with a format of a one-off game and a final tour at one stadium to decide the winner.
Sevilla FC, as the winter champions of Group 4 will enjoy home advantage in this first eliminatory round, in which the draw has paired them with Real Betis. Currently, Sevilla, who saw their match last weekend against Almería postponed, are third a point behind the green and whites and level on points with Granada CF, both teams having played a game less than Lolo Rosano's side. The cup tie will be played next weekend with a day and time to be confirmed, at the Ciudad Deportiva José Ramón Cisneros Palacios.
