Sevilla FC have found out their opponent in the Champions League Round of 16. The draw, which took place this afternoon in UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, paired Julen Lopetegui's team with Borussia Dortmund. As Sevilla finished second in their group, they will contest the first leg at home in the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, with the second leg being played in Germany. The first leg will be played on Wednesday 17 February with the trip to Germany coming on Tuesday 9 March.

The teams have played each other in European competition before. It was in the 2010/11 Europa League group stage, with groups of four teams who played each other twice. In the first match in Germany, Gregorio Manzano's Sevilla FC won 1-0 through Cigarini's goal. The teams drew 2-2 in Nervión, with Kanouté and Romaric scoring for Sevilla and Kagawa and Subotic for Dortmund.
Dortmund qualified in first position in a group that included Lazio, Bruges and Zenit. They are fifth in the Bundesliga and have just sacked their coach Lucien Favre after losing 5-1 at home to Stuttgart. Favre has been replaced by his assistant manager, Edin Terzic.
