Chidera Ejuke was one of the key players in our 2-1 win against Real Valladolid as he came off the bench to score the winning goal five minutes from time in front of the fans at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.
The winger also became the first Nigerian player to score a goal in an official match in the club's history. This season, both Ejuke and his compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho have become the first players from this country to play for the club.

“I feel very good and happy. It's an important victory for the team. It's incredible to score in front of the fans and also to get the victory. I'm very happy,” he commented after the match.
