Youssef En-Nesyri has brought an end to his first full year as a Sevilla FC player after he joined for the last half of the 19/20 season. The Moroccan striker, who will now head off for international duty with his country, ended the 20/21 season with 24 goals - a goal every 124 minutes. Eighteen came in La Liga, with the others coming in a season in which he made 52 appearances across all competitions - the most of any SFC player this season.
En-Nesyri finds himself just above Joan Jordán and Ivan Rakitić who both sit on 50 games. Fixtures in the team such as Jules Koundé, Fernando and Jesús Navas have 49, 44 and 43 games respectively. Youssef is the only Sevilla player to have played all La Liga games this season, just above Rakitić who took part in 37 and Jordán who played in 35.
Added to the 26 games he played last season, En-Nesyri has now put on the Sevilla FC shirt a total of 78 times
As a result, added to the 26 encounters in his first half-season after arriving from CD Leganés in the winter, En-Nesyri now has 78 appearances for the Club across all competitions: 56 in La Liga, eight in the Champions League, seven in the Copa del Rey, six in the Europa League, and the UEFA Super Cup against Bayern Munich. He scored six goals in his first season at the Club, meaning he now has 30 goals in white and red.
Another stat worth mentioning about Youssef's season is that he comes in second place for the number of points awarded to his team. With his 18 goals, En-Nesyri directly won the team 19 points, only behind Luis Suárez who won Atlético and above the fifteen won by Gerard Moreno and Lionel Messi.
