The prestigious national and European auditor KPMG, with the aim of looking ahead to the next African Cup of Nations which will be played in January, launched an important report about the influence of players from the continent in European clubs, highlighting the important flow of African talents that have been able to develop their career in Europe. In the study there is a particularly favourable section for Sevilla FC, highlighting the figure of Youssef En-Nesyri and also the rest of his Moroccan compatriots at the club, Yassine Bono and Munir El-Haddadi. The Striker, who came from CD Leganés in the 19/20 January transfer window, is described by KPMG as the most valuable African player in La Liga out of a total of 25 with a market value of 42 million euros. The average value of this quarter of a century of players in the Spanish first division is 16 million, which means that En-Nesyri is almost triple the average. Also, the white and red forward appears in a very distinguished position in the KPMG report as the tenth most valuable African player in Europe, sharing a list with the likes of Salah, Mané, Mahrez and Hakimi.
Also, it is worth noting the increased value that KMPG accounts for regarding the value of European clubs with African players. Sevilla FC are the sixth-best club on the continent through this metric, with the values of Munir and Bono also included. In total their value is 85 million, only behind Liverpool, Napoli, Leicester, Paris Sain-Germain and Arsenal.
