ESCUDERO: "IT WAS HARD TO BREAK THEM DOWN"

"In the first half we played better as we created more opportunities"

Escudero captained the side against APOEL and talked about how superior they were over the duration of the match: "We were the ones in control but it was hard to break them down. However, we got the three points and that's the important thing. The first half for us was better than the second, as we had more opportunities, but we have to try and improve in all aspects to be more consistent over the 90 minutes".

"We always try to be the team on top, the ones in control of the game; and tonight we did that once again. We have to keep on doing this". Now, all eyes turn to Sunday's encounter in the Camp Nou: "We know that it will be a tough game and from tomorrow, that's all we will be thinking about".
