ESCUDERO: "THE SEVILLE DERBY IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL IN FOOTBALL"

Having dealt with Cádiz in the first fixture of 2018, all attention now turns to the Seville Derby, which will take place on Saturday in the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. It's one of the most eagerly anticipated matches every season and naturally the most important match in any matchday weekend. It's no wonder that La Liga look to promote the match, and for that very reason, carried out a unique interview with a player from either side at the same time. 

Sevilla FC star and club-captain Sergio Escudero was the Nervionenses' chosen player - already knowing what it's like to play and win the derby. He said: "before I got here I saw the rivalry on television between two sets of fans who never stop supporting. It's one of the most beautiful rivalries in football".
