ESCUDERO: "THESE TWO RECENT VICTORIES SHOULD FILL US WITH CONFIDENCE''

Sergio Escudero couldn't deny that his team's victory against Girona this Sunday was a difficult one: "It was tough, but we got the victory which was the important thing. Each week our objective is to get the three points so that we can climb the table and place higher". 

With passage to the Copa del Rey Final and today's three points, the team is full of positivity: "This Sevilla has a great team that fights up until the final whistle, and that's just what we've seen today. In recent La Liga matches we haven't played well, but we need to turn the page and focus on our next match which looks to be challenging". 

The team have bagged two victories at home which has filled the side with confidence: "Wednesday's match was challenging, Leganés were a strong side. We've played two great matches and this should give us the confidence boost we need".
