Fernando Reges was the player who spoke alongside Julen Lopetegui at the pre-match press conference on the eve of the second leg against Dinamo Zagreb. He began by focusing on our Croatian opponents: "The team have players with lots of quality, we suffered a bit in the first leg and we'll dig deep tomorrow too, but we're hoping to play well and qualify". He then highlighted the importance of knowing how to dig deep despite the two-goal advantage in the first leg: "We have a bit of an advantage, but we know it's tough because Dinamo have quality players. We had the chance to see that quality in Sevilla and tomorrow will be no different, but we're prepared as we're aware of the difficulty".
Regarding his fitness, he confirmed he has recovered from his knocks: "I came back with a few little knocks, that's normal, but physically I'm feeling good and I don't think anything else will happen to my ankle and I'll keep helping my team, that's the most important thing". To finish, he spoke about the injuries that the team as a whole have suffered this season: "It's tough, because we didn't expect to be dealing with so many injuries. We want to have everyone available, but it's happening after two very good seasons without injuries, but we have to compete in the same way and stay up there in the table. They have a lot of quality up front and we have to be ready, as they attack with five or six players".
