Morocco have almost sealed their ticket for the 2022 AFCON after their 2-0 win against Central African Republican in Douala. The match was played in Cameroon as the home team's national stadium was not available. The game featured two Sevilla FC players, with Bono and En-Nesyri starting.

The Moroccan striker sealed the victory with a counter-attacking goal in injury time, with the hosts caught up the field frantically looking for an equaliser. En-Nesyri remained cool in front of Lembet's goal after a pass from Chelsea FC's Hakim Ziyech. With this victory, Morocco only need one point from two games to secure their qualification for the 2022 AFCON in Cameroon.
