GUDELJ: "WE HAVE TO BE READY AND ALERT TO WIN AGAINST WEST HAM"

Nemanja Gudelj accompanied Julen Lopetegui in the official press conference ahead of the game tomorrow against West Ham. The Serbian had faith in the squad for tomorrow: "The team is preparing very well for the game. We feel prepared and ready for tomorrow. They are a very physical side with a clear game plan and we are going to have to be prepared to face the game." 

The midfielder did not underestimate the quality of the London side. "It is a very strong team in one of the best leagues in the world. Everybody knows the economic strength of these sides and they are having a very good season. We are going to have to be very prepared, ready and alert to give everything to be able to beat West Ham." Also, he made it clear that the injuries are not an excuse. "It is a difficult time. We have said it a lot because we have been asked a lot recently. But this club and this team have shown many times that in difficult times it is stronger. When one falls another step up." 

To finish, he maintained that he is not thinking about what will happen in the London Stadium. "We will see about the second leg when the time comes. We are concentrating on the game tomorrow and we see it as a one-off game because it is the next one. When the second leg comes, then we will see."
