GUEYE EARNS ANOTHER INTERNATIONAL CAP IN SENEGAL'S DRAW AGAINST BENIN (1-1)

Pape Gueye played 79 minutes in Senegal's draw away to Benin (1-1). Our Senegalese midfielder was on the pitch from the start in another African Cup of Nations qualifier. Senegal leads Group L by a resounding 13 points with one game still in hand. The Senegalese got off to a great start, taking the lead in the first half. However, the locals hit back in the closing stages of the game. 

Alex Telles was an unused substitute in Brazil's 4-1 win over Guinea. Telles and Gueye will face off against one another this coming Tuesday when Brazil meets Senegal in a friendly.  This Sunday, it's Jesús Navas' turn. In the Nations League final, the Sevilla captain will represent the Spanish national team against Croatia.
