Sevilla FC and Inter are two of the biggest sides in the UEFA Europa League. Both are in the top three for titles lifted and the all-time league table for points earned in the tournament, with Inter leading the wayfollowed by Sporting Club de Portugal and the Nervionenses.

The two sides will meet for the first time in an official match and UEFA have confirmed the kits that will be worn in the big final. As Sevilla FC are the home team in Cologne's final, there were not many doubts about the kits that would be worn. Bearing in mind that the two clubs will have eleven finals between them (three of them over two legs), here we will look at the kits that both sides have worn in their UEL finals, with the first one in 1990, when Inter reached their first one.

Inter only had to change their shirt in the first leg of the 1997 final, which they lost

Sevilla FC will play in white with black socks for the fourth time in Europa League finals, as they did in Eindhoven in 2006 against Middlesbrough, in Turin in 2014 against Benfica, and in Basel in 2016 against Liverpool. In the other two finals, they would play in red, wearing red with black socks against Espanyol in 2007 in Glasgow, and all red against Dnipro in 2015 in Warsaw.

Inter have not had to their vary their colours as much in Europa League finals. In fact, they have almost always been able to wear their classic kit of blue and black striped shirts with black shorts and socks. They wore these colours against Roma in 1991 and Borussia Dortmund in 1994, in both legs. They also wore the kit against Lazio in Paris in 1998, which was a one-off tie.

The only time they had to wear a different shirt came in the first leg of the their only loss in a UEL final, when they faced Schalke 04. They lost 1-0 in white at the old Parkstadion in Gelsenkirche. Although they did win 1-0 at home in their home kit, they lost on penalties to the German side. As both sides wear black socks, Inter will have to wear white socks for the second time in a UEL final.
